The Constantine Housing Initiative (CHI) supports Sigma Chi house corporations in keeping chapter properties safe, well-managed, and financially sound. CHI works alongside HC officers with three core services: Property Assessments, officer training through the House Corporation Academy, and direct support when a house corporation runs into a problem it hasn’t faced before.
CHI works directly with house corporation officers — presidents, treasurers, and boards — across the Sigma Chi housing portfolio. If you hold an officer role in a house corporation, CHI’s services are built for you.
[NEEDS INPUT: cost structure varies by service. Placeholder language below assumes no direct officer-facing fee for core services — confirm before publishing.] Most CHI services are provided as part of its ongoing support of Sigma Chi house corporations. For lending or property-specific services, CHI will walk you through any costs directly.
RMF provides loss protection for insured Sigma Chi properties. CHI works on the ground with house corporations to reduce the risks RMF is protecting against — through Property Assessments, officer training, and direct support — so fewer problems reach the point of a claim.
[NEEDS INPUT: this is a sensitive question — HC officers will ask it, and the honest answer likely involves the compliance referral process. Do not publish a soft or misleading answer here. Confirm exact language with Steve before this goes live.]
HCA is CHI’s training program for house corporation officers. It covers the fundamentals of the role — property management, financial oversight, and volunteer responsibilities — for officers who are new to the job or want a refresher.
New HC volunteers are automatically enrolled when their role is recorded in the system. If you believe you should be enrolled and haven’t received access, contact CHI directly. [CONFIRM contact routing — see note at end of document.]
[NEEDS INPUT: confirm whether HCA is mandatory or recommended before publishing — this affects the tone of the answer.]
[PLACEHOLDER — see routing note below.] Email pc@constantinehousing.org and a member of the CHI team will respond.
