Property Assessments

A professional assessment every three years with a relationship built alongside it.

A licensed inspector handles the property. A Sigma Chi alum volunteer with housing expertise handles the relationship visit on the same day. The assessment tells you what the property needs. The conversation connects you to what it takes to address it.

What it includes

Coordinated scheduling 90 days out
Licensed third-party property assessment
Sigma Chi alum volunteer relationship visit
Written findings report to HC and Risk Management Foundation (RMF)
Property Coordinator (PC) follow-up within two weeks

Free online training — built specifically for HC volunteers.

Property Coordinator Program

A named person who knows your house corporation.

Starting in 2026, every HC in the CHI portfolio has a named Property Coordinator. Her job is to know your organization, stay in contact, and be the first call you make when something comes up.
